4 years agoBaltimore Orioles pitcher Zac Lowther did not fare well in his first career start, taking the loss in an 11-6 game against the Red Sox. Lowther only lasted 2 1/3 innings, allowing seven runs on seven hits (including a two-run home run) and two walks with three strikeouts. The 25-year-old has pitched well in his minor league career, but it looks like he may need some more experience before he's ready for the big leagues. It remains to be seen if Lowther will take another turn in the rotation with the O's, but he should be avoided if he does.--Connelly Doan - RotoBaller
