4 years agoSan Francisco Giants first baseman Brandon Belt continued his power surge in Monday's 3-1 win over the Rangers, going 1-for-3 with a solo home run, a walk, and a strikeout. Belt took a fourth-inning Kyle Gibson pitch to the opposite-field bleachers for his eighth HR of the season. The veteran started off slow, but has been getting his power swing on in May, slashing .267/.389/.667 with four HR and nine RBI. There are plenty of first base and power options floating around on the waiver wire, but Belt is worth a look given his hot streak and how well the Giants have been playing overall.--Connelly Doan - RotoBaller
