4 years agoSan Francisco Giants starting pitcher Anthony DeSclafani improved to 3-1 in Thursday's 3-1 win over the Pirates. DeSclafani pitched 5 1/3 innings, allowing no runs on one hit and a walk with five strikeouts. The Giants revitalization magic has worked on the 31-year-old this season, who now has a 2.14 ERA with 41 strikeouts and 11 walks over his first eight starts. His next matchup will come against the Reds at home. Fantasy managers should feel comfortable starting DeSclafani in most matchups given how well he has pitched so far.--Connelly Doan - RotoBaller
