John Means Has Strong Start Go To Waste Monday
4 years agoBaltimore Orioles starting pitcher John Means turned in another solid start in Monday's 8-3 loss to the Twins. Means pitched seven innings, allowing two runs on five hits (including two solo home runs) and no walks with five strikeouts. However, the O's bullpen gave up six runs in the bottom of the eighth inning, putting them ahead for good. Means has been stellar this season and now has a 1.79 ERA and 8.82 K/9 rate over his first 10 starts. Fantasy managers should feel comfortable starting him in almost any matchup. His next start should be a decent matchup against the White Sox at home.
