3 years agoArizona Diamondbacks shortstop Nick Ahmed continued to heat up at the plate on Sunday, finishing 2-for-4 with a triple, one RBI and one run scored in a 9-2 win over the Cardinals. He struggled all through the month of April by slashing .161/.188/.210 over 18 games, but after a slow start to May, Ahmed is now slashing .314/.415/.543 with three RBI and three runs scored over his last 12 games. He's been fairly consistent with about 15 to 20 home runs over the past couple years, and it looks like he could be getting back on track for similar numbers this year. However, his value is limited only to deeper mixed leagues and NL-only formats.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
