3 years agoPittsburgh Pirates starting pitcher Chase De Jong allowed just one run on three hits and two walks over five innings of work against the Rockies on Sunday. De Jong was called up for a spot start Sunday while JT Brubaker was placed on the bereavement list, and in his first appearance of 2021 he struck out five over five innings of work but did not factor into the decision in a 4-3 loss to Colorado. De Jong will likely head back down to the minors after this, but going forward if he gets called up for a spot start again, he could be worth looking at as a streaming option depending on the matchup.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
