3 years agoArizona Diamondbacks starting pitcher Zac Gallen (elbow) was throwing at 90 feet on Monday and is scheduled for a bullpen session on Tuesday, according to Zach Buchanan of The Athletic. Gallen has been out for three weeks now after being diagnosed with a "minor sprain of one section of his UCL in his right elbow" and had recently begun playing catch. If all goes well tomorrow, Gallen will start to get stretched out for a potential return to Arizona. Managers should continue to hold onto Gallen, but be prepared for things to potentially get worse with him and cost him more time — or even the full season.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
