3 years agoBaltimore Orioles first baseman/outfielder Ryan Mountcastle went 1-for-4 with a solo home run and two strikeouts in Monday's 3-2 extra-innings loss to the Twins. Mountcastle launched a fifth-inning Jose Berrios curveball to straightaway center for his fifth HR of the season. The 24-year-old has had an extremely disappointing 2021 season, slashing .226/.255/.373 with 21 RBI. He still holds plenty of fantasy value in dynasty leagues given his pedigree and 2020 output, but his production to this point does not merit fantasy rostership in single-season leagues.--Connelly Doan - RotoBaller
