3 years agoToronto Blue Jays second baseman Cavan Biggio (neck) is still dealing with the cervical spine ligament sprain that landed him on the injured list, and is not ready to return to action yet, according to Keegan Matheson of MLB.com. Manager Charlie Montoyo called Biggio "day-to-day" still after he was placed on the injured list on May 22 with the neck injury. Biggio has been having a rough go at the plate this year, slashing .205/.315/.315 with three home runs, two steals, 11 RBI and 14 runs scored over 39 games. Managers will hope that once he is healthy he can bounce back to his 2019 numbers in which he slashed .234/.364/.429 with 16 homers and 14 steals.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
