Matt Harvey Pitches Three Strong Innings Wednesday
3 years agoBaltimore Orioles starting pitcher Matt Harvey did a commendable job serving as an opener in Wednesday's 6-3 win over the Twins. Pitching on just three days of rest due to a rotation adjustment, Harvey pitched three innings, allowing one run on two hits (including a solo home run) and a walk with three strikeouts. It remains to be seen when Harvey's next start will be, but it should come in a typical fashion. The veteran has struggled this season, compiling a 6.62 ERA over 12 starts. While fantasy managers were hoping that he could return to his success of old this season, it unfortunately does not appear that that will happen.
