3 years agoOakland Athletics outfielder Ramon Laureano (hip) received a cortisone and PRP injection on Thursday and is expected to be out for longer than the 10-day minimum, according to Shayna Rubin of The Mercury News. Laureano was placed on the 10-day injured list on Tuesday with a strained right hip, with the move retroactive to May 28. So far this season, Laureano is slashing .257/.332/.503 with 11 home runs, eight steals, 22 RBI and 30 runs. With Laureano out, Canha will continue to start in center field, while Tony Kemp and Chad Pinder will split time in left.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
