3 years agoNew York Mets first baseman Pete Alonso is back in the starting lineup on Friday night, as he will bat fourth against Blake Snell and the Padres. Alonso was activated from the injured list on Monday after missing time with a sprained wrist, and was given the night off on Thursday. While it was expected that Alonso would return to the lineup Friday, it is nice for managers to have the reassurance that everything is fine with his wrist and he's back in action.
