3 years agoBaltimore Orioles pitcher Keegan Akin turned in a stellar start in Friday's 3-1 win over the Indians. Akin pitched five scoreless innings, allowing three hits and a walk with four strikeouts. The 26-year-old has pitched both in the beginning of games and out of the bullpen this season and has done relatively well overall, compiling a 3.60 ERA and 1.20 WHIP over 20 IP. It remains to be seen in what role his next appearance will be. Either way, Akin would need to have a few more solid starts before fantasy managers could start thinking about him.--Connelly Doan - RotoBaller
