3 years agoAtlanta Braves relief pitcher Grant Dayton (shoulder) was placed on the 10-day injured list with right shoulder inflammation, and in a corresponding move relief pitcher Jacob Webb was recalled from Triple-A, the team announced on Twitter. Dayton had not been having a particularly successful season so far, posting a 6.23 ERA and 1.615 WHIP with 14 strikeouts over 13 innings. Meanwhile, Webb has gone 1-2 with a 5.63 ERA, 1.875 WHIP and 17 strikeouts in 16 innings of work with Atlanta this year, but in his last three appearances at Triple-A Gwinnett, Webb has allowed only two hits with four strikeouts over three innings of work.
