3 years agoSan Francisco Giants first baseman/outfielder LaMonte Wade Jr. will bat leadoff and play right field in Tuesday's game at the Rangers. The 27-year-old had been playing first base but will shift to his natural outfield position with Brandon Belt being activated from the injured list. Wade Jr. has hit well in his limited time with the Giants, slashing .270/.386/.541 in 44 plate appearances. It remains to be seen if he can continue to produce in the big leagues over time, but he is worth keeping an eye on in the coming days.
