3 years agoBaltimore Orioles third baseman Maikel Franco did his part in Tuesday's 10-3 rout of the Mets, going 2-for-3 with a double, a three-run home run, and a strikeout. Franco broke the game open in the fifth inning by obliterating a Robert Gsellman fastball deep into the left-field seats. Franco has had a disappointing season despite the strong game and is now slashing just .208/.251/.367 with seven HR and 31 RBI. He had a solid 2020 season, but has not been able to repeat his production to this point.--Connelly Doan - RotoBaller
