3 years agoPittsburgh Pirates outfielder Ben Gamel went 3-for-4 with two doubles in a 5-2 loss to the Brewers on Sunday afternoon. After a rough start to the year with Cleveland, Gamel has looked better at the plate in Pittsburgh, as he is slashing .243/.295/.414 with one home run, four RBI and seven runs scored over 27 games with the Pirates. While those numbers aren't good enough for him to be worth considering in most formats, he could be a decent play in NL-only formats or in daily leagues as a cheap option when he is in the starting lineup.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
