3 years agoTexas Rangers relief pitcher Ian Kennedy (hamstring) is expected to be activated from the injured list on Wednesday, according to Levi Weaver of The Athletic. Kennedy was placed on the injured list with a mild hamstring strain last week, but it appears he'll require minimal time before he can return. He's been solid as the Rangers' closer this season, locking down 12 saves with a 2.53 ERA and 25 strikeouts in 21 1/3 innings of work. Managers should check back for an official announcement that he's returning Wednesday, but assuming he is then managers should slot him back into the lineup right away.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
