3 years agoHouston Astros relief pitcher Cristian Javier allowed one run on one hit and one walk while striking out two over two innings of work in an 8-4 win over the Rangers on Wednesday night. He's now posted a 2.77 ERA over 13 innings of work since being bumped to the bullpen, and has recorded a 15:6 K:BB ratio. Obviously his value is diminished while he's in the bullpen, but he can still provide enough value to make him worth hanging onto until he can eventually make it back into Houston's rotation.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
