3 years agoTexas Rangers outfielder David Dahl (ribs) will begin a rehab assignment with Triple-A Round Rock on Saturday. He's been sidelined since May 26 with a left rib contusion. Dahl worked out with the team on Friday and reportedly felt good afterward. The 27-year-old slashed .208/.242/.340 with four home runs, 12 RBI, and 16 runs scored across 154 plate appearances before landing on the 10-day injured list. Dahl is trending in the right direction and barring any setbacks should return to the active roster soon.--Brad Camara - RotoBaller
