3 years agoColorado Rockies pitcher Daniel Bard allowed one run on a walk and two hits while striking out one across one inning during Friday's win over the Brewers. He was charged with his fourth blown save of the season. The 35-year-old entered the ninth inning with a 5-4 lead but surrendered an RBI double to Brewers shortstop Willy Adames to force extra innings. It was his first blown save since May 12. Despite the blown save, Bard has pitched well in June. The Rockies pitcher is 4-for-5 in save opportunities with a 3.00 ERA and 1.11 WHIP across nine innings during the month. Bard has cemented his role as the Rockies closer and owns a 37:12 K: BB with nine saves in 2021.--Brad Camara - RotoBaller
