3 years agoTampa Bay Rays starting pitcher Shane McClanahan looked sharp on the mound on Sunday, allowing just one run on three hits and one walk while striking out eight in six innings of work in a 6-2 loss to the Mariners. He recorded a season-high in strikeouts, as he now owns a 29 percent strikeout rate on the year. When he's on, he's been a solid fantasy pitcher. However, only five of his 10 starts this year has seen him throw five or more innings, so it's hard to buy into him completely at this point.
