Adbert Alzolay Suffers Loss In Return
3 years agoChicago Cubs starting pitcher Adbert Alzolay tossed 4 2/3 innings in his return from the injured list on Monday versus the Cleveland Indians. Alzolay returned after spending the minimum amount of the time on the 10-day injured list with a blister on his middle right finger. Alzolay had really good stuff in his return, but fell victim to a solo home run to Bobby Bradley and a two-run home run by Josh Naylor. Alzolay would finish with a line of three hits, three runs, one walk and five strikeouts over 4 2/3 innings. Alzolay has been having a good season and now owns a 4.19 ERA with his next start coming on Saturday versus the Los Angeles Dodgers. Alzolay should be rostered in all formats, but managers may want to rest him on Saturday in a tough matchup.
