3 years agoNew York Mets starting pitcher Marcus Stroman exited his start on Tuesday night with an apparent injury, according to Tim Britton of The Athletic. Britton reports that Stroman was seen walking gingerly off the mound after throwing a pitch to Austin Riley in the top of the second inning, and he would eventually leave the game with a trainer after throwing a couple warmup pitches. This is yet another blow to the Mets pitching staff, after dealing with the loss of Robert Gsellman to a torn lat, and Joey Lucchesi requiring Tommy John surgery. Managers should consider him day-to-day for now, and check for updates on his condition later tonight.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
