3 years agoToronto Blue Jays pitcher Nate Pearson (groin) was placed on the minor league injured list with a right groin strain. Before the injury, the Blue Jays top pitching prospect posted back-to-back solid outings at Triple-A, allowing two runs on five hits and five walks while striking out nine across 11 innings. There is no timetable for Pearson's return, but he is expected to be out at least a week. The 24-year-old is mainly an option in dynasty leagues and can be dropped in redraft formats if you can't afford the extra roster spot. Pearson will look to return to the big leagues and become an effective pitcher as a starter or reliever for both the Blue Jays and fantasy managers in 2021.--Brad Camara - RotoBaller
