3 years agoWashington Nationals first baseman Josh Bell (oblique) is not in the starting lineup on Friday due to an oblique issue, according to Maria Torres of The Athletic. Bell was scratched from the lineup on Thursday, and at the time it was not known why he was pulled from the lineup. Torres adds that Bell was scheduled to undergo an MRI on his oblique on Friday, and there have been no updates on the results of that scan or his condition. With Bell out, Ryan Zimmerman is getting the start at first and is batting fourth in the lineup.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
