3 years agoAtlanta Braves starting pitcher Max Fried (finger) is expected to be activated from the injured list on Wednesday and start against the Mets, according to David O'Brien of The Athletic. It looks like it'll be a short stay on the IL for Fried, who landed on the injured list on Tuesday with a blister on his finger. Over 11 starts this season, Fried is 4-4 with a 4.21 ERA and 22.2 percent strikeout rate in 57 2/3 innings of work. The start against the Mets should be a nice outing for Fried, who limited them to one run over six innings while striking out eight in his last outing against them in May.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
