3 years agoSan Francisco Giants catcher Buster Posey (back) could return for Saturday's game against the Athletics. The Giants catcher was a late scratch on Friday after his back tightened up in the batting cage before the game. Posey's injury isn't considered serious and he's expected to return to the lineup on Saturday. After opting out of the 2020 season, Posey has been an offensive force at catcher in 2021. The 32-year-old is slashing .322/.411/.556 with 12 home runs, 27 RBI, and 33 runs scored across 207 plate appearances. Fantasy managers should back on Saturday to ensure Posey is in the starting lineup. If Posey is unable to suit up, Curt Casali would continue to see time behind the plate.--Brad Camara - RotoBaller
