3 years agoSt. Louis Cardinals pitcher John Gant will move to the bullpen starting Saturday against the Pirates, per manager Mike Shildt. He owns an 11.57 ERA along with an 11:14 K: BB across 14 innings over his last four starts. The Cardinals have yet to announce who will replace Gant in the rotation, but fantasy managers can drop the 28-year-old if they haven't done so already. Gant will be used in a long-relief role going forward and owns a 3.76 ERA, 1.62 WHIP, and an abysmal 50:48 K: BB across 64 2/3 innings in 2021.
