3 years agoSan Francisco Giants relief pitcher Jake McGee picked up his 15th save of the season in Friday's 2-0 win over the A's. McGee pitched a 1-2-3 ninth inning with no strikeouts to secure the win. Teammate Tyler Rogers pitched the eighth inning. The Giants closer saga continues to flip flop, but it looks like things could be shifting back towards McGee for the moment, who has seen most of the save opportunities over the past several days. The veteran has now converted 15 of 17 save opportunities and has a 3.16 ERA and 29.6% strikeout rate.
