Cody Bellinger Has Scheduled Day Off On Saturday
3 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers outfielder Cody Bellinger will get a day off on Saturday versus the Chicago Cubs. Bellinger is 1-for-7 with a stolen base since returning from the 10-day injured list on Wednesday. Bellinger has fought the injury bug all season and has only played in 19 games this season. In 69 at-bats, Bellinger is hitting .217 with one home run and 10 RBI. Managers should still remain patient with Bellinger and he is capable of being a very productive offensive threat if he can stay healthy. Infielder/outfielder Zach McKinstry will replace Bellinger on Saturday and bat eighth versus Alec Mills. McKinstry has been slumping with the bat, but did hit a home run on Friday. He's a dart throw in DFS on Saturday. Bellinger is expected to return to the lineup on Sunday versus Adbert Alzolay.
