3 years agoArizona Diamondbacks first baseman Christian Walker went 3-for-5 with a run scored in a 7-4 loss to the Cardinals on Wednesday afternoon. Walker has been on fire at the plate over his last seven games, slashing .407/.448/.704 with two home runs, two RBI and six runs scored over that span. He had a rough start to the year while dealing with injuries, but in 27 games this month he is slashing .253/.292/.407 with three home runs, 10 RBI and 17 runs scored. While he's not quite to the level that managers have seen over the past two seasons, Walker is still a solid corner infield option in deeper mixed leagues and NL-only formats.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
