3 years agoArizona Diamondbacks shortstop Nick Ahmed went 0-for-1 with three walks and a run scored in a 7-4 loss to the Cardinals on Wednesday. It's looking like he's starting to show better plate discipline now, as five of his 19 walks this season have come over his last seven games. Along with the walks, Ahmed has been looking good over his last seven games, where he's slashing .316/.458/.526 with two doubles, one triple, two RBI and four runs scored. While this recent stretch has looked nice, his .219/.286/.317 triple-slash line over 69 games this year makes him pretty much unrosterable in any format.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
