3 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers outfielder Steven Souza Jr. has been designated for assignment on Tuesday. Souza was promoted to the big league club on June 16 and struggled in limited playing time. The veteran only had four hits in 25 at-bats with one home run and two RBI. Relief pitcher will Jake Reed will replace Souza on the roster. This will be the first taste of the majors for Reed at the age of 28 and he could be avoided in all formats for now.--Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller
