Tony Gonsolin Has Longest Outing Of Season
3 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers starting pitcher Tony Gonsolin put together his longest outing of the season in Tuesday's no-decision versus the Miami Marlins. Gonsolin was sharp all evening and allowed two hits, zero runs, one walk and struck out three. It was Gonsolin's sixth game of the season and fifth start. The right-hander missed the beginning of the season with a shoulder injury, but it looks like he is finally stretched out and ready to help managers that were patient with him. Gonsolin will carry a 1-0 record with a 2.11 ERA into his next start against the Arizona Diamondbacks on Sunday. Gonsolin should be rostered in most formats.
