3 years agoPittsburgh Pirates outfielder Ben Gamel is not in the starting lineup for Wednesday afternoon's matchup with the Braves. This appears to just be a day off for Gamel, who has played in seven straight games for Pittsburgh. He's been one of the hottest hitters in baseball over his last seven games, slashing .346/.414/.885 with four homers, eight RBI and eight runs scored in that span. With Gamel sitting, Jared Oliva slides over from right field to left field and will be batting eighth against Atlanta, while Wilmer Difo will start in right field and bat sixth.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
