3 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers catcher Will Smith will rest on Wednesday versus the Miami Marlins. It is just a routine day off for Smith and he will be replaced by backup catcher Austin Barnes. Barnes will bat eighth against the Marlins bullpen in a bullpen game. Barnes is hitting .220 on the year with three home runs and 15 RBI and is a risky play in DFS. Smith has been one of the better offensive catchers this season and he is expected to return to the lineup for Thursday's series finale.--Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller
