3 years agoTampa Bay Rays second baseman Brandon Lowe went 2-for-3 with two home runs, a walk, three RBI and two runs scored in a 5-2 win over the Blue Jays on Saturday. That bumps Lowe up to 20 homers on the year, as he's slashing .208/.317/.458 with 47 RBI and 46 runs scored over 81 games this season. He's been on fire over his last 15 games in particular, where he's slashing .267/.411/.867 with eight homers, 16 RBI and 11 runs scored. He's one of the better power-hitting second basemen out there and should be targeted before the trade deadline by teams in need of home runs.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
