3 years agoWith their second pick of the 2021 Draft, the Red Sox drafted outfielder Jud Fabian out of Florida. Boston went with a high school shortstop in the first round, and now they grab a more experienced bat with Fabian. He struggled out the gate in 2021, but bounced back with much better numbers once SEC play began. The big concern with Fabian is that while he's shown some pop, his strikeout rate has gone up and he has shown struggles in adjusting to breaking balls. He has some above average speed, and if he can cut down on the swings-and-misses, he could minimally be a solid mid-level fantasy outfielder in the future.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
