3 years agoLos Angeles Angels outfielder Mike Trout (calf) is expected to be back with the team within two weeks, according to Jeff Fletcher of the Orange County Register. Manager Joe Maddon said that Trout is close to 100 percent, but he is still not running at 100 percent just yet. Maddon added that Trout will need to improve how he feels while running before he can begin a rehab assignment, but even with that he expects Trout to return to the team in less than two weeks. This is great news for fantasy managers who have been eagerly awaiting Trout's return from a strained right calf that has kept him sidelined since mid-May. There really hadn't been anyone in the Angels outfield providing fantasy value while Trout was out, so his return should have minimal impact on other players on the team.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
