3 years agoLos Angeles Angels outfielder Justin Upton (back) still remains without a timetable for his return, according to Jeff Fletcher of the Orange County Register. Manager Joe Maddon said that Upton had a good workout session on Thursday, but he is unsure when Upton will return or if he will need a rehab assignment before he is activated. Upton has been dealing with a lower back strain that landed him on the injured list on June 25, and there have been varying reports as to when he would be able to return. Managers should continue to be patient with Upton, as he was putting up good numbers prior to the injury by slashing .247/.336/.480 with 14 homers, three steals, 32 RBI and 40 runs scored over 63 games.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
