Julio Urias Picks Up Another Victory
3 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers starting pitcher Julio Urias earned his 12th win of the season versus the Colorado Rockies in Friday's victory. Urias didn't have his best results of the season, but he pitched well enough. The lefty went 5 2/3 innings and allowed seven hits, four runs, one walk and struck out three on the evening. The three strikeouts were tied for the fewest amount he had in a game this season. Urias is expected to turn into the Dodgers top pitcher in the second half with Clayton Kershaw (forearm) and Trevor Bauer (administrative leave) both sidelined for the foreseeable future. The lefty is now 12-3 with a 3.78 ERA. Next up will be a battle against a tough San Francisco Giants offense on Wednesday.
