3 years agoDetroit Tigers starting pitcher Jose Urena (groin) will be placed on the 10-day injured list after exiting Saturday's start due to right groin tightness, according to Evan Petzold of the Detroit Free Press. That won't impact too many fantasy managers, however, as Urena has struggled this year with a 2-8 record, 6.43 ERA and 14 percent strikeout rate over 77 innings of work. To take his spot on the roster, the Tigers are recalling relief pitcher Alex Lange from Triple-A Toledo. Lange has provided solid strikeout value with a 25 percent strikeout rate over 16 innings with Detroit this year, but his 7.31 ERA and 2.00 WHIP leave a lot to be desired. It's unclear at this point who exactly will fill Urena's spot in the rotation, but for now, it seems unlikely that any option they turn to will have much impact in fantasy.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
