Ke'Bryan Hayes Has Two Hits In Win Saturday
3 years agoPittsburgh Pirates third baseman Ke'Bryan Hayes went 2-for-4 with a double and a run scored in a 9-7 win over the Mets on Saturday. After a small slump towards the end of June, Hayes has started to pick things up recently and over his last seven games he is slashing .304/.429/.391 with one RBI and three runs scored. Overall he's been having a solid year despite missing almost the entire first two months of the season, as he's now slashing .268/.354/.435 with four homers, two steals, 18 RBI and 20 runs scored in 39 games. While that's all well and good, it seems like Hayes has been lucky with the power numbers as he currently owns a .374 xSLG. Managers may want to consider flipping him now before the trade deadline.
