3 years agoChicago Cubs infielder Nico Hoerner will receive a routine day of rest on Monday versus the St. Louis Cardinals. Hoerner has been having a productive season and is hitting .321 with 10 RBI and three stolen bases this season. Hoerner is the Cubs regular second baseman moving forward, and he is capable of providing fantasy managers with a steady source of hits, although he does not offer much power. Hoerner will be replaced by infielder Eric Sogard on Monday. Sogard will bat eighth against Jake Woodford.
