3 years agoChicago White Sox first baseman Jose Abreu continued his strong start to the second half with a 1-for-3 performance in Game 2 of Monday's doubleheader versus the Minnesota Twins. Abreu had a rough first half, but he has now hit safely in six of his last seven contests and has gone yard two times during that span. The reigning American League MVP makes for a good buy-low candidate, but fantasy managers may want to pounce sooner than later with his recent surge at the plate. Abreu is now hitting .252 with 17 home runs and 71 RBI. The slugger will look to keep it going versus Bailey Ober on Tuesday.--Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller
