3 years agoChicago White Sox rookie infielder Gavin Sheets starred as the hero of the night in Game 2 of Monday's doubleheader versus the Minnesota Twins. Sheets came up in the bottom of the seventh inning with two runners on base and his team down 3-2. Sheets took Jose Berrios deep to end the game and send the crowd home. Sheets made his big-league debut on June 29 and has been a fixture in the White Sox lineup since that time. Sheets is now hitting .245 with five home runs and 14 RBI.
