Justin Turner Exits Early On Tuesday
3 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers third baseman Justin Turner exited Tuesday's game versus the San Francisco Giants early. Turner was hit by a pitch on the knee in the bottom of the third inning, but was pulled in the top of the sixth inning for Matt Beaty. Turner finishes the game 0-for-2 and remains day-to-day for now. More should be known about his status after the game. Turner is hitting .302 with 17 home runs and 55 RBI and his loss would be significant for managers. If Turner is forced to miss an extended period of time, first baseman Albert Pujols and infielder/outfielder Matt Beaty would likely see more at-bats. Both Beaty and Pujols can remain on the waiver wire for now.
