3 years agoLos Angeles Angels first baseman Phil Gosselin will start and hit third Tuesday night against the Rockies. Gosselin is by no means a household name and is slashing .229/.296/.292 this season but finds himself in the three-hole thanks to his production against left-handed pitching. With the Rockies trotting out left-handed starter Austin Gomber on Tuesday, Gosselin gets the call in the middle of the order thanks to a .359 batting average against lefties this season.
