3 years agoHouston Texans quarterback Deshaun Watson reported to training camp despite pending legal trouble and a trade request, and on Wednesday he saw his first work on the practice field, taking reps and throwing to receivers. Watson actually practicing with the Texans seems odd, with John McClain of the Houston Chronicle saying "it's strange seeing Watson going thru pre-practice drills knowing he'll never take another regular-season snap with the Texans." The Texans say that Watson's presence isn't a distraction, but having a player who isn't expected to play for the team taking reps right now is nothing short of weird. It shouldn't change the belief that Tyrod Taylor will be the starter this season.--Justin Carter - RotoBaller
